The Orioles beat the Rays 11-2 to complete the three game sweep over the Rays.

Hitting

The Orioles started the game off hot scoring five runs in the first inning to give themselves an early 5-0 lead. Overall the orioles hitters played very well scoring 11 runs in the game.

Two performances I would like to highlight are the performances from Gunnar Henderson as well as Alexander Blaze. Henderson Started the game in the first inning with a 2 run home run in the second at bat of the game. He then hit a solo shot in the bottom of the sixth inning to extend the lead for the Orioles to 8 runs.

Blaze hit his first home run for the orioles a two run home run in the bottom of the seventh. He added a 2 run single as well as a two run double in the game giving him 6 RBIs to end the game. This performance is the most RBIs Blaze has had in a game.

Pitching

Trey Gibson started the game going 5.2 innings of one run ball in just his third start of his career. The rest of the pitching was good with the rest of the innings being pitched by relievers who gave up just one run.

Conclusion

The Orioles did everything right in this game they hit great they pitched great. The Orioles improve to 26-30 on the season and are 6-4 in their last ten games. The Orioles can be a great team if they keep up this level of play.
