10. Red Sox

The Red Sox being the tenth best team in baseball is no small feat. While I believe that they will miss the production of Alex Bregman this year I do believe that their pitching led by Garret Crochet can be one of the best in baseball. Players like Roman Anthony and Jaren Duran will need to be even better this year to stand up to the other teams on this list. The crazy part is I think they can do it.

9. Mariners

For a team that made it all the way to the ALCS last year this is quite low. My biggest gripe with them is that they relied on Cal Raleigh last year to have the year he did to make it that far. I do not see him doing that again it is very difficult to hit 60 home runs two years in a row. While they didn’t add much they are still a very solid team with good pitching that I think can be very good this year.

8. Phillies

While the Phillies are a very good team and were last year, I have seen a downward trend since they went to the world series. They are a good team but their stars are getting older and slowing down ever so slightly. I think they are a good team but not a great team. They will need to be much better than in years past to compete with the other top teams.

7. Cubs

The Cubs a very good young team with up and coming stars. They will be good this year the loss of Kyle Tucker will hurt them but they still have other pieces that can pick up where he left off. The addition of Bregman helps both the defense and offense. A solid rotation look out for the Cubs to be a sleeper team and make a run.

6. Mets

The Mets a good team on paper for years past. I have a hard time believing in them as they have been very disappointing in years past. But I have to believe in them they are so good on paper. Maybe just maybe this will be the year that they finally live up to the hype.

5. Brewers

My most underrated team they have a very good rotation and a good enough lineup to win a lot of games. With this same line up they made it all the way to the NLCS. They have another year under their belts and their young players will be making a big impact this year.

4. Tigers

The Tigers what an interesting team. They have in my opinion the second possibly best pitcher in baseball in Tarik Skubal. And outside of him a very good rotation. They will be a very good to great team this year and will compete hard with anyone in the league.

3. Yankees

This team is a very good team. Their lineup is one of the best in baseball and they have one of the best rotations in baseball. Their biggest weakness. Defense. If they can clean up the defensive mistakes they had last year then they will win the American League this year.

2. Blue Jays

The runner ups from last year and they will only be better. While for years I have said they are one of the most overrated teams in baseball last year they finally put it all together. They pitched extremely well and just played well complementary baseball. Vladdy will be an MVP candidate this year and I have no doubt they will go far.

Haha Sorry Rockies fans it is the Dodgers.

Ugh who else but the dodgers would top this list. They are the back to back champs and they only get better every year. Adding again the top free agent in Kyle Tucker I hope someone knocks them down this year. But it will remain to be seen they are the best team in baseball.
